If you are reading this blog post I think it’s safe to say you are tired of making excuses or you’re almost at that point. I was there and not that long ago. I thought I could do both, make excuses when it was convenient for me and get the results I needed but I never got anywhere but discouraged. Now, I’m helping people just like you get back on track with my free health and fitness program!
I would blame “time”, “money” or whatever else I could so I had a buffer or a reason for not giving it 100%.
It wasn’t until I finally realized I couldn’t get anywhere making excuses. Excuses were a huge roadblock in the health journey I was on.
I was living a pretty healthy lifestyle and knew what I needed to do but there was something missing.
My “WHY”…
This is a common problem for many people and the reason why many don’t follow through with their weight loss programs or fitness goals.
The point I’m trying to make is in order to stop making excuses, we have to know why we are doing what we are doing.
You have to know WHY you want to do it. What will motivate you? What’s the one thing/person that will drive you to do better?
My why is because I want to enjoy a long quality life full of independence, and dignity as I get older while I make lasting memories with my family.
When my 2nd husband and I got married, there were already 3 kids between us and then we had a baby a year later. We never had our time together without kids. Not complaining about that because we wouldn’t have had it any other way but my point is, right now we are in this season of raising kids but it’s going to be our time together when they are all grown and gone. We want to travel, hold hands while we walk down the beach, and just be together for a long time.
What is your why? What is going to stir up something inside of you so badly that you are going to stop letting excuses hold you back from the results you deserve?
Think about that for a minute… what are currently your excuses if you are being totally honest with yourself?
I’m not saying your excuses are not valid. Trust me, I know how real the struggle can get. What I am saying is you just have to want results more than excuses.
The good news is, you have already taken the first step! Now, we want to challenge you to continue to make one small change at a time to get you one step closer to optimal health. Optimized Life can help!
We have a 6-week program that will help you turn your excuses into a lifestyle of healthier habits.
I want to give it to you for FREE! Yes, I said free. No strings attached.
That’s because Optimized Life is on a mission to help show others how they can start small snd make changes no matter what their situation is.
This in return will extend lives, eliminate diseases, reduce stress, and live a quality life.
By doing this, your children will adopt this lifestyle because they are watching you and they will pass down to their children. You are changing generations!
That sounds like an OPTIMIZED LIFE to me!
That’s the only thing I want in return. Is for you to live your healthiest and best life possible.
About My Health Journey
Hi! I’m Sandra and I wanted to take a second a tell you my personal weight loss story and how I was able to lose 40 pounds when I finally stopped making excuses and started taking action.
It was October 2020 and I went to the doctor for a health checkup and I didn’t realize how much weight I gained during quarantine. My cholesterol was high and I was definitely overweight. And that was that. Challenge accepted!
I told myself I was over making excuses anymore and I was ready to WORK HARD, do whatever it took to get my health where it needed to be. Since I am a health and wellness blogger and I have dedicated my time to researching and writing about health-related topics so I knew what to do. I just needed to find a way to put it into practice and do the hardest part… practice what I had been preaching.
I started with MINDSET FIRST! This is #1. If you don’t start here then there is no point in proceeding. You have to know why you are doing what you are doing. I started a challenge for myself and I called it 40 by 40. I wanted to lose 40 pounds by my 40th birthday which was in February. I know that a lot to lose in a little amount of time but I needed an end date and something to push and motivate me.
Next, I took a hard look at what I was putting into my body each meal. I cut out the crap and adding a few key things that really helped me lose weight. Another thing I did was started to work out. I love the routine I created for myself. It was very sustainable and I actually didn’t dread cardio anymore! I found a way to make it fun and enjoyable. I started taking a few key vitamins and supplements. As I put this thing together and the weight started to come off, I added in weights and became stronger a little more each day.
Today, I have lost a total of 50 pounds and I am still trying to lose about 10 more. I have a new goal and that is to be stronger and in better health each year I get older. I’m not trying to be younger. In fact, I love getting older and as I continue to do so, I want to live my healthiest and best life possible.
I have become a Certified Health Coach, Personal Trainer, and Longevity Specialist!
I’m also certificated in DNA-Based Fitness Coaching.
This certification is going to be life-changing for so many people!
I created this 6-week program to help others do some of the things I did to lose weight. I can’t guarantee you will lose 40 pounds but I can say you will be on your way to losing as much as you put your mind to losing.
What I can guarantee is that you will learn how to create healthy habits that will allow you to slow down the aging process, prevent age-related diseases, improve your health, change the way you eat, and have you feeling more confident about yourself again.
